The Trouble with Truman

Truman was an elder at First Baptist Church. He was involved in the life of the church for many years then something began to change. Truman stopped attending services. At first it was hardly noticeable and then it came with more excuses. The trips out of town (usually to Las Vegas or to a race track) and the events scheduled on Sundays became more and more frequent. His wife and children were worried about the change and his coworkers wondered what happened to the strong Christian they use to see read his Bible at lunch.

Now he’s never seen serving the Lord and rarely attends church.
