One of the things that is apparent in the School of Wisdom study (you can find the podcasts here) are the number of comparisons that Solomon made between the righteous man and the wicked man in each chapter. I have a feeling that these are in the text so that we will notice them and understand the difference in the two groups. These comparisons complement the Two Ways described in chapter one. So, I decided to keep a running list of these comparisons. These two lists will change from week to week as I add the latest verses.
If you haven’t started the study yet you can jump in at any point. If you don’t want to work through all thirty-one chapters but are interested in just one chapter or a passage in a particular chapter, that’s fine too. The material is modular enough to act as a commentary in that way.
Look back through the blog entries and search for the outlines for each chapter or for the chapter you are interested in. Of course, I would recommend studying Proverbs from beginning to end since it is written to be studied in that way.
