Looking for an Apple

John’s mother told him to go to the apple store and buy an apple. John went early in the day but all the apples were gone.

The apple store didn’t look like an apple store any more. Somehow it had changed. He looked diligently through the store but only found two, shiney golden tomatoes. “What happened to the apple store?” John thought.

He continued to look for apples and soon found the Gardner who grew the apples. “What are you looking for?” the Gardner asked. “I’m looking for the apples. Where have you put the apples?” John asked.

The Gardner said, “John, I no longer have apples. Go home and tell your mother that she will never have to buy an apple ever again.”

Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her.
