There is that maketh himself rich, yet hath nothing: there is that maketh himself poor, yet hath great riches.Proverbs 13:7
This outline is intended to be used in conjunction with the School of Wisdom podcast found HERE on YouTube. However, don’t let that stop you from using it for your own personal study. I am glad to provide these to you free of charge.
The School of Wisdom Bible study examines the book of Proverbs chapter by chapter for 31 weeks or until I’m done, which ever comes first. You can jump into the lessons at any point. By way of the power of podcasting, you can start at the beginning or study a chapter(s) of interest to you.
In this chapter we have two instructors who enter the classroom. First, we hear the instruction of a father. Then, we have the instruction of a wise man. They are very similar and contain repeating themes. Again we have guidance on the creation and use of wealth, and wisdom about our speech. The wise man introduces us to the three friends of wisdom; favour, prudence, and faithfulness.
