The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord: but the prayer of the upright is his delight.
Proverbs 15:8
This outline is intended to be used in conjunction with the School of Wisdom podcast found HERE on YouTube. However, don’t let that stop you from using it for your own personal study. I am glad to provide these to you free of charge.
The School of Wisdom Bible study examines the book of Proverbs chapter by chapter for 31 weeks or until I’m done, which ever comes first. You can jump into the lessons at any point. By way of the power of podcasting, you can start at the beginning or study a chapter(s) of interest to you.
This chapter is outlined a little differently. Warning! I arranged the verses topically. That was easy to do since there are four major topics in the chapter. The largest of the sections has to do with our speech. A unique element appears in this chapter. The word “prayer” only occurs three times in Proverbs and two of those times is in this chapter. Guess what section it falls in. Yep. Speech. Let’s not forget the admonition of the apostle;
“Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.”
Colossians 4:6
