How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!
Proverbs 16:16
This outline is intended to be used in conjunction with the School of Wisdom podcast found HERE on YouTube. However, don’t let that stop you from using it for your own personal study. I am glad to provide these to you free of charge.
The School of Wisdom Bible study examines the book of Proverbs chapter by chapter for 31 weeks or until I’m done, which ever comes first. You can jump into the lessons at any point. By way of the power of podcasting, you can start at the beginning or study a chapter(s) of interest to you.
This chapter is graced by an abundance of proverbs that refer to the Lord. I like to call chapter sixteen, The Lord’s chapter. Words, the mouth, and the lips also occupy an important place in the teaching here. The following scripture from Colossians is left over from last week’s lesson but I think it fits this week as well.
“Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.”
Colossians 4:6
