Deal with me, not according to my deeds,
Thy servant, pleads for mercy;
According unto your tender compassion,
Thy mercy gives life, joy, freedom, release,
And hope for a dwelling in the house of the Lord.
Teach me to extend mercy those who transgress against me,
Thy statutes poison the bitter root.
