I have sought for more,

Longed for less;

For vain fulfillment,

Thy salvation heals my soul.

O Lord, attend to my prayer,

And hear every part.

Thy law draws me near,

Is my fainting weakness?

Delight dwells in your pavilion.

I have longed for thy salvation, O Lord; and thy law is my delight.
