Make me expectant,

To understand my keeper.

The way of the moon by night,

Thy precepts, my shade by day.

So shall you preserve from evil,

I talk of your help and,

Thy wondrous works in heaven and earth.

Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.
