I have longed for thy salvation, O Lord; and thy law is my delight.
Psalm 119:174
Dear Church and Friends,
We come to the end of Psalm 119 with these two verses. We have the back and forth of confession and petition in verses 174-175. Both of these present the discerning reader with a challenge.
Do you remember when you first came to the Lord? What a blessed longing there was in your heart for all of Jesus and all he had for you! What happened to that longing? Here is the challenge for each one of us. We need to recapture that desire and allow it to grow us further in Christ.
Podcast: Psalm 119:174-175.
Do you remember the time the Lord answered your prayer and delivered you? Do you remember the way your heart soared to the heavens in praise of your might God? David writes, “Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee” Even in this difficult hour let’s all praise him by faith for the work of his strong hand. The life of our soul will benefit for such an exercise.
