Sunday Morning Worship – Samuel Sneaks Away

And Samuel said, How can I go? if Saul hear it, he will kill me. And the Lord said, Take an heifer with thee, and say, I am come to sacrifice to the Lord.

1 Samuel 16:2

Dear Church and Friends,

Samuel is afraid and mourning his failure, and Saul’s. What’s a Judge of Israel to do? The Lord understands our fears and always has a plan to get us back into the action. For Samuel, that meant going to Bethlehem and beginning a work that would culminate in a manger.
