Sunday Morning Worship – November 21, 2021 – The Gospel and Superstition

Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars’ hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious.

Acts 17:22

Dear Church and Friends,

The citizens of Athens were very religious. People really haven’t changed that much. Paul took the opportunity to use their superstition, which was a cover for their ignorance, to tell them their unknown god was known. He had revealed himself in his word and by his Son.
