The Lord hath swallowed up all the habitations of Jacob, No one complains of righteous judgment. And hath not pitied, Raking us up like Fall leaves. He hath thrown down in his wrath, Into the fire to dispose: The strong holds of the daughter of Judah, No more graced by the sunlight. He hath brought them down to the ground, The height of pride destroyed. He hath polluted the kingdom, With the ash of an unrighteous people. And the princes thereof, And no one complained.
