Lamentations 3:33-36 ~ Ponder

For he doth not afflict willingly, 
God dealeth with you as with sons; 
Nor grieve the children of men. 
For what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
To crush under his feet all the prisoners of the earth,
He says to them, "Go forth."
To turn aside the right of a man, 
Before the face of the most High,
But He says, "Come now, and let us reason together."
To subvert a man in his cause, 
"Every way of a man is right in his own eyes:" 
The Lord approveth not.
"But the Lord pondereth the hearts."
