Sunday Morning Worship – May 15, 2022 – The Boy Who Would be King

Then Adonijah the son of Haggith exalted himself, saying, I will be king: and he prepared him chariots and horsemen, and fifty men to run before him.

1 Kings 1:5

Dear Church and Friends,

The world has its way and we can see that the way of the world is very old when reading Adonijah’s story. He created a marketing plan, leveraged his assets, and made all the right connections to achieve his dream. However, he didn’t have one thing, a promise; that belonged to Solomon. In this edition of Sunday Morning Worship, we’ll see the contrast between the power of self-promotion and the power of a promise.

All my best,
