Sunday Morning Worship – October 30, 2022 – The Mob Rejects the Word of God

So the priests and the prophets and all the people heard Jeremiah speaking these words in the house of the Lord.

Jeremiah 26:7

Dear Church and Friends,

No one really ever expects the mob to listen, but we can always hope. The sad part of this story is that the mob was in the house of the Lord. How is it that all the priests, the prophets, and all the people flew on Jeremiah with the intention to kill him? And all for preaching something that they didn’t like. That couldn’t happen today, could it?
