The earth is the stroke of the artist’s brush, O Lord is the artist, painting on a blank canvas. Full of goodness to highlight His glory, Thy handiwork shudders with praise for your name. Mercy flows down like a river, Teach me to seek your face. Thy statutes are my guide.
Thou art the author of mercy and truth, Good and righteous is your word. Do your wonderful works among your people, Good gifts which enrich the church. Teach me to make much of my Savior, Thy Spirit to guide my soul; Statutes of truth and mercy.
