But then Joel comes to the end of his prophecy and has a message of hope for the people. In 3:16 he shows us that in the midst of judgment, “The Lord roaring,” the people of the Lord have hope and strength.
Matthew 24 is a time-scape painted by the Lord Jesus which leads us up to his return.
