Notice that just as God raised up Christ so He has raised us up! This is both a quickening of the future resurrection of our bodies and a present quickening of our souls.

Qualities such as kindness, truthfulness, and fruitfulness are expounded as evidence of righteousness in the heart. The chapter also reveals how the Lord blesses the righteous by establishing him or her in three important areas of living.
