Thou art the author of mercy and truth, Good and righteous is your word. Do your wonderful works among your people, Good gifts which enrich the church. Teach me to make much of my Savior, Thy Spirit to guide my soul; Statutes of truth and mercy.
Thy eternal throne stands firm from year to year, Statutes have been seated there, forever secure. My songs, their melodies move with the mood of days, In your harmony they find their frequency.
