About

The Bible Bistro is an umbrella term for all of my publishing efforts; articles, books, podcasts, and whatever comes next. I began podcasting Daily Dose Radio in March of 2013. In March 2017 I started all over again; a four-year journey studying the Psalms verse by verse.

My inspiration was and remains Colossians 3:16, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Spreaker is where I started podcasting. Now the Bible Bistro can be found on multiple social platforms which include Tumblr, Stitcher Radio, FaceBook, Twitter, Spotify and YouTube. I’m a proud member of the iHeartradio family and can be found on iTunes podcasts as well.

Here’s a little about me. I’ve served Creek Road Baptist Church as pastor since 1998. I hold degrees from Campbellsville College, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion and studied for a brief time under the direction of Tel-Aviv University.

In 2019 I graduated with a Doctor of Educational Ministry degree in Biblical Spirituality from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. In my free time I like to tinker with my stringed instruments. I hope you’ll follow the Bible Bistro and enjoy all the material that is published here.
