Statutes #145

I cried out in silly, impatient anger,

With broken expectations laying dead at my feet.

My whole heart yearns for relief from my vanity,

Hear me. Who else can I cry to?

O Lord, you alone have ears for prayer,

I will call to you and make my habit.

Keep me, break me, lead me, heal me,

Thy statutes reform my expectations.
