Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man’s heart discerneth both time and judgment.Ecclesiastes 8:5
Dear Church and Friends,
When we experience troublesome times we often respond from our emotions. We shoot from the hip and never take time to consider what is going on around us, not to mention why.
Solomon gives us direction here to slow down and consider both time and judgment. Paul writes, “See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is” (Ephesians 5:15-17). Wisdom discerning time and God’s hand.
So it’s a New Testament principle as well? Christian, as salt and light in your world it is up to you to discern these things for the benefit of those in your orbit. They need to see how you handle this both with your actions and words. Take time to pray and seek the Lord. Ask him for the wisdom to discern both time and judgment.

Question 33: How can that be proved?
Answer: They consented to Satan’s lies, distrusted God’s Word, and sought to be equal with God.
Question 34: Why are we punished for their sin?
Answer: We are punished for our own sin, because we are all in them, standing and falling with them.
Question 35: In what state is all their posterity?
Answer: Under the same bondage of sin.
“Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.”
All my best.
Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before him:Ecclesiastes 8:12
